Most of them had very substantial Real Estate holdings such as Apartment & Office Buildings, Regional Shopping Malls, Industrial Properties, etc.
In 1987, I decided to devote my energies and expertise to helping affluent individuals and their families manage their personal financial affairs. For over 30 years, I’ve worked in almost every aspect of real estate-Residential-Commercial-Industrial-Investment-Vineyards. This expertise enables me to offer complete real estate brokerage and consulting services to our family of clients.
In addition, I have been the Remodeling and Construction supervisor for dozens of custom properties over the past 30 years. Some of these projects were for our own account and some for clients and employers. Based upon my experience, I have a keen understanding of the interaction of location, cap rates, market factors, construction quality, lease characteristics, etc. on the current and future valuation of commercial/industrial properties.
On the Residential side, I strive to understand our clients’ entire situation. Therefore, I provide unbiased advice in achieving their real estate objectives. With my professional and personal experience, I also assist clients’ families evaluate long-term care solutions that often involve real estate.

During my 25 year career, I have worked with corporate, pension and personal investments. My experience has included time with Barclay’s Global Investors, Barra (acquired by Morgan Stanley) and Stanford University. Most recently, I was a Financial Advisor with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC. I also founded and ran Elaine Maria Estate Wines, a boutique Alexander Valley wine label.
This experience as an investment professional and personal experience as a multi-generation vineyard and property owner give me a deep understanding of the financial and personal issues inherent in long standing real estate ownership. It is with this perspective that I will develop solutions for our clients in exchanging physical California vineyard, investment and rental properties into institutional quality, diversified real estate portfolios that attempt to yield consistent, predictable income.
